Certification Class: Finding Treaties 2012  

Here are some questions you should ask yourself before you start your research.

1) Do I have a citation? 

2) Is the United States a party to the treaty? 

3) If the US is not a Party, is the treaty multilateral or bilateral?

4) What is the status of the treaty, is it in force or not?

If you do not know where to bring your research, find a treaty research guide.

In order to receive the Certificate in Research Skills for Practice, you must complete assignments from six of the certification classes you attend. The assignment for the Treaties class is due one week from the day you attended the session.
