BU Catalog - Reserves

Reserve Books

To find a book that is on Reserve start with the BU Catalog (at the left).  You can search by Course or Professor.  Once you have found a book in the Catalog, note the  call number.  Most books for law courses have a location of Law Reserve, located behind the Pappas Circulation desk. Each of the rows in this area are labelled with the call numbers included. This area is open to all patrons - you can use the books at the shelf or check them out for use within the library for 2 hours. Law students may borrow many of the titles for use outside of the library for 2 hours.

Not on Shelf

If you are unable to locate a book listed as Available, please check with a staff member for assistance.

If a book is listed as Due: --_--_----: xx:xx pm, please indicate your interest in using this title to a staff member.  Staff will add the title to a list and will not renew the title for the patron who currently has it.

Reserve books that are overdue are recalled throughout the day.  Please alert staff to the overdue status and we will contact the patron currently holding it.
