This guide is designed for use by staff members of BU Law journals, both for tech-check research training and as an ongoing resource for journal staff members. It includes research tips, links to research guides and tools that can be used for source-gathering. The "PDFs" page provides an extensive list of document types (with links to databases) that can be retrieved in PDF format, which is often preferred by editors for source-gathering purposes.

Library research training: Many of the tabbed pages in this guide address a particular type of material and may be used for training sessions at the beginning of the fall semester. These sessions focus on electronic source-gathering, using sample citations drawn from article manuscripts and links to appropriate databases. These pages also include:  tutorials to assist in using key databases; links to other useful resources for working with each type of material; and pertinent pages from The Bluebook (19th ed.) on locating and citing to preferred sources.
